HOW TO USE SHEET MASK CORRECTLY! GLOWY SKIN IN 10 MINS! Immy Maryam

Welcome back to my channel! I'm Immy, a skincare enthusiast and this is how I use sheet masks to get the maximum skin benefits. Sheet masks are super beneficial for the skin as they help strike the right balance between skincare and pamper. Indulging your skin with a sheet mask is one of the simplest, and might I add, the fastest way to hydrate and nourish your skin. They are made of fibre and are loaded with moisturising serum, and shaped to fit the contour of your face. The serums used are usually made with a high concentration of potent ingredients that help tackle skin concerns like dullness, ageing, etc. The serum infused mask hydrates, moisturises and deeply nourishes your skin, minus the mess that comes with DIY masks (even though I LOVE DIY masks!!!).

FIND THE RIGHT SHEET MASK FOR YOUR SKIN TYPE:

Oily Skin: Masks containing charcoal, retinol, or clay can help reduce pore size and also draw out any excess sebum in the skin. Avoid masks containing fragrance, as they can increase skin sensitivity.

Dry Skin: For both dehydrated skin (aka skin that's lacking water) and dry skin (aka skin that's lacking oil), sheet masks can be a total game-changer. Look for water-based hydration—aloe, water, chamomile, ceramides, peptides, and glycerin are all hero picks.

Post-Sun: Hydration is key post sun exposure. Sheet masks containing aloe and glycerine are great options. Popping your mask into the fridge for a few minutes can offer an extra boost of cooling.

Anti-Aging: If you're using sheet masks for anti-aging benefits, look for ingredients like glycolic acid or lactic acid. These AHAs will help slough off the surface layer of dead skin and provide a youthful glow.
