Joe Biden treading ‘fine line’ in satisfying both sides of Israel-Palestine issue
Former White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney says Joe Biden is trying to tread a “very fine line” in satisfying both the pro-Israeli and pro-Palestinian groups in his party.
US President Joe Biden has reaffirmed his support for Israel and rejected claims the war in Gaza is genocide.
The International Criminal Court is seeking arrest warrants for Israeli and Hamas leaders.
“He came out with some very, very harsh words today regarding the ICC,” Mr Mulvaney said.
“The Americans are certainly not going to be helping the ICC pursue any actions against Israel or Netanyahu.”
