A knife sheath with bees inlayed in the leather
I am making a knife for a family member who is a bee keeper. In this video I am finishing the project by making a sheath. I wanted to stay with the bee theme so I made a stamp to put a honeycomb pattern in the leather. I used a little creativity to add a couple of the same bee charms that I used for the handle. The knife handle is made from curly maple, casting resin, aluminum honeycomb, bee charms, vulcanized fiber liners and brass pins. The blade is 256 layer random pattern Damascus forged from 1084 and 15N20.

I am always working on building something and try to average a YouTube video once a week. Most often leather work, but I have also posted videos on black smithing, knife making, casting, and even how I make soap.
