Nightscape Light Painting Science or Art

Nightscape light painting ... lots of people do it but today I'd like to pose the question. Is it more about science or art ...??? You'll have to watch the video right through to get my take on this but it's something I've pondered for many years and it's safe to say that it takes both a lot of knowledge and a whole lot of practice to get it right.
