Folkestone councillor says migrant camp in Kent "is a recipe for disaster"

Councillor David Monk says plans to use Napier Army Barracks in Folkestone as a temporary accommodation site for migrants "is a recipe for disaster."

Speaking to Mike Parry on talkRADIO, the Folkestone and Hythe District Council leader, said the information given to local councillors has been "very poor", adding he thought "if the French played their part" in stopping migrants crossing the channel "it would help enormously."
