Mysore Zoo or Mysuru Zoo officially known as Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens, is one of the oldest and most well-maintained zoos in India. Established in 1892 by Maharaja Chamaraja Wadiyar X, it spans over 150 acres near Mysore Palace. The zoo is home to a wide variety of species, including exotic animals like giraffes, rhinos, and orangutans. It is renowned for its conservation efforts and successful breeding programs. The lush green surroundings and well-planned enclosures make it a popular attraction for visitors of all ages.
