While you were distracted by the US presidential election, the Chinese Communist Party expelled 4 Hong Kong Pro-Democracy Legislators from the Hong Kong Legislative Council. In solidarity, the remaining 19 Pro-Democracy Legislators announced their resignation. It comes as US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announces more US sanctions on Hong Kong, straining US China relations.
