Royals Reunite To Remember Prince Philip

REMEMBERING PRINCE PHILIP
Preparations are underway for the funeral of Prince Philip. The Duke of Edinburgh and the Queen's husband died on Friday at the age of 99. Since then countries all over the world have been paying tribute to him and celebrating his life.
When he was young Prince Philip was a military man and actually served in World War 2 aboard a naval battleship. In 1947 he married Queen Elizabeth who was actually a princess at the time. Since then he has been by her side or at least a respectful step behind her
The Prince's funeral will be held this Saturday and he plans to go out in style. The Duke will be transported in this snazzy land rover that he actually helped design. The funeral itself will be a private affair with only 30 people mostly royals allowed in. One of those is Prince Harry who's flown over from the US to say farewell to his grandfather. Prince Philip will be buried in St George's chapel alongside former Kings and Queens and he'll be remembered as one half of one of the world's most iconic couples

CYCLONE SEROJA
Cyclone Seroja has caused a lot of damage in Western Australia. The category 3 storm hit WA's mid-west coast last night. And while people had time to prepare the cyclone quickly destroyed homes and buildings and has left tens of thousands of people without power. The storm has since been downgraded but it's still making life tricky for people there.

HIDEKI MATSUYAMA MASTERS WIN
Hideki Matsuyama has just made history at the Masters tour in the US becoming the first Japanese man to win a major championship. He's just joined the green jacket club! The famous green jacket is reserved for winners of the Masters tournament, which he now is! He's the first Japanese man to win a golfing major and lot's of people were cheering for him as it went right down to the wire. He beat US player, Will Zalatoris, by just one shot to claim the title, which he hopes will make him a pioneer for others to follow.

AFLW
The Adelaide Crows will face the Brisbane Lions in the AFLW Grand final! To get there, the Crows had to beat Melbourne which they did pretty comfortably. But it was a different story for Brisbane. They took on Collingwood and it was a tight one. The Lions made the most of the Pies' bad fortune to win 45 to 41.

W-LEAGUE
There was a last minute upset in the W-League grand final! After a neck and neck battle with Sydney FC, Kyra Cooney-Cross, from Melbourne Victory slotted a goal in the final seconds of extra time. She helped her club live up to their victory name and win the grand final for the first time in 7 years.


ANTHONY HOPKINS BAFTA WIN
Anthony Hopkins won best actor at the BAFTAs for his role in The Father. He was just one of the big name winners at the 74th British Academy Film Awards which took place virtually over two nights.

ROBOT PAINTER
A robot at an art fair in Dubai can produce artworks by itself, kind of. It's a bit of a human- robot collab. The original painting by a human is fed into the neural network and then the robot produces its own version of the art.

BOOGELWOOGEL CARNIVAL
Skiers in Russia braved freezing temperatures in minimal clothing to attend the annual BoogelWoogel Carnival.
