This was an incredible experience. We were in the water with pilot whales. After they passed underneath us, we started heading to the boat. I always look around, I perform 360 check roughly every 15 seconds. I was about to get on the boat, but I did one more look around. In the 15sec interval, this oceanic white tip showed up out to nowhere and was inches from my fins. After quick turn around and eye stare, shark kept his distance. We ended up swimming out from the boat and started playing together for little while 👀🦈🏝️
