The Timekeeper: A Clock Collector’s Story

What type of person would have more than 150 clocks AND more than 100 watches in his personal collection? Why is that person so interested in clocks? What kinds of clocks does that person collect? Does that person think that changing all of those clocks to adjust for Daylight Saving Time schedules is a nightmare? What has this person observed about timekeeping over the last several decades? What’s going through the mind of a dedicated “Timekeeper”?

This video features a lot of my favorite clocks, including an original Arrow Rolling Ball Clock from the 1970s, a novelty pyramid clock, a grandfather clock and a mantel clock which each play chimes every 15 minutes and other "atomic" radio controlled clocks and watches. My watch collection is mostly Casio products including dozens of G-Shock models which are solar powered "Tough Solar" watches. The majority of them also use Casio's Wave Ceptor and Multiband 6 technology to automatically set themselves to the right time and maintain accuracy. I'm also happy to feature my Geochron Atlas 4K device, displayed on a nice, large monitor.

This video is released about the time that we, in North America, adjust our clocks from Daylight Saving Time back to Standard Time. Instead of the typical (and not very interesting) time change reminder that you normally see on news broadcasts, wouldn't you rather see something more fun and instructive like this?
