World Wrestling Technique: Anzor Zakuev Single Leg Defense

This is JO Wrestling's first ever International Wrestling Superstar Technique Breakdown. I am excited to begin featuring a new athlete and their shared technique.

Anzor Zakuev has had an excellent year becoming a finalist at the Yarygin and then Russian Nationals for his first ever medal. I have been fortunate to have made friends with him and we share technique from time to time. Recently I asked him to breakdown this particular single leg defense he performed at 2020 Russian Nationals qualification round, down 6-2 and scoring 4 to win.
