Man who shot at people at Hollywood Beach arrested after fleeing and crashing, cops say

A man who allegedly opened fire on two people on Hollywood Beach was arrested after fleeing from officers and crashing Thursday night, authorities said.

Hollywood Police said the incident began just after 7 p.m. when the suspect, 30-year-old Tyrell Anton Thomas, was involved in an argument with the victims on the beach at Douglas Street.
