Cover Stitching Fleece Successfully

Long 20 minute version (that could have been summarized in less than 5 minutes) video showing how I do my coverstitching on fleece.

NOTE! Normally, it isn't recommended to iron fleece. On my projects I use a pressing cloth and my iron temperature setting is set on low. I mosting want the steam to set the fold than the heat.

You may notice my stripes didn't stay perfectly lined up on the underside. Here are a couple of tips to help prevent this:

1. Use a walking foot when doing the basting stitch.
2. Use a 505 Basting Spray to keep everything lined up along the edge
3. Place the basting tape closer to the edge than I did. I normally place it very close to the edge of the stitching line and this does the trick. However, you can have fabric that is so slinkey that it requires you to hand baste it in order to keep everything lined up perfectly. In this case one technique doesn't fit everything.
