Adding a Floating Shelf to our Laundry Room

Our recently remodeled laundry room needed some storage for everyday goods. Narrow cupboards were hard to reach so we opted for a larger custom "floating" shelf.

While this isn't a step-by-step or full how-to video, I hope it gives you some insight into the process if you're interested in tackling a project like this for yourself.

Tool list:
- 10" table saw (could use circular saw)
- 12" miter saw (could use circular saw)
- Compressor + pin nailer
- Drill/Driver
- corner clamps
- quick clamps
- orbital sander
- carbon grey stain
- waterbased polyurethane
- foam brushes
- tac cloth
