In our story, after causing the Doomsday event, Midas dies as a tragic figure, sacrificing himself to save his daughter Marigold, or “Jules.” In Fortnite’s “official” story, after causing the Doomsday event, Midas maybe possibly goes to the real world, then inexplicably joins Shadow for a day and then somehow ends up on a raft where he is comically eaten by a loot shark. A really great ending for the character... and people still don’t understand why we can’t follow the complex “lore” of Fortnite exactly. Anyways, this is an episode about Midas fighting that shark.
