The second round of official talks between China and the US has concluded. Many observers agree the talks were acrimonious. In this video, we answer three fundamental questions:
1) Will the US/China trade talks lead to cooperation between the two rivals?
2) Did China enter these talks from a position of strength?
3) Will the US use Meng Wanzhou, as a bargaining chip?

There are areas of potential cooperation between the two rivals such as climate change. It will be interesting to see how Presidents Biden and XI address bilateral relations when they meet virtually on April 22nd of this year. Where from here is anybody’s guess!!!
