These are without a doubt, the most special pierogi of all, because in Poland we traditionally have them on Christmas Eve.

♥ 1 cup (250ml) water
♥ 1 tablespoon oil (canola or olive oil)
♥ 1/2 teaspoon salt
filling:

♥ serve with fresh herbes (dill, chives) - this is optional
