PRIME LENS COMPARISON TAMRON 35mm 85mm CANON 50mm | Behind the scenes portrait photoshoot

In this video I do a visual prime lens comparison on; the Tamron 35mm 1.4, Canon 50mm 1.4 and Tamron 85mm 1.8..as well as taking you behind the scenes on this photoshoot.
This is not an in depth review of the lenses but more of a visual comparison of the same scenes.
If you are tossing up between what lens to buy next..well that might be another video! In my opinion, they are all great focal lengths for portraits and weddings, however, they all look quite different and have different unique traits.

The 35mm allows for much more of your environment to be captured whilst you are close to your subjects. PLUS, you can also create a nice background separation should you need to.
But watch out for the distortion if you get too close to a face or position someone too close to the corners! It is super fast to focus and very sharp throughout as well.

The 50mm is a great all round lens for any genre. Closest to what your eye can see, it has no distortion and has long be hailed as the holy grail for portrait photography.
Bokeh can also be created with this lens quite easily. My Canon 1.4 is very soft and I don't love it for that reason, however, get a good copy of it and it's an amazing value lens.

The 85mm is the mother of bokeh and if you love that insane background and foreground separation, this is your new friend. The longer focal length does mean you have to stay at quite a distance to get the same image coverage as the other two lenses but it's well worth it in my eyes.
This is probably my favourite out of all of them as it is insanely sharp throughout and very fast.
