Dodge Journey - History, Major Flaws, & Why It Got Cancelled! (2009-2020)

In this video we are looking at the Dodge Journey! Launched for the 1999 model year, this was a FWD mid-size crossover SUV produced until 2020. It was built on the Chrysler D platform, built to help replace the Chrysler Pacifica SUV. The Journey was a vehicle that provided affordable utility, it was average in most ways, but got the job done for a very low cost. There was a redesign in 2011, but unfortunately, Chrysler changed virtually nothing for almost a decade, and the Journey got old and outdated fast. Dodge went the performance route, and the Journey was gone. There were also several major flaws, such as electrical and brake issues, and 2.4L World engine problems.
