RV Toilet Upgrade! Dometic 320 Toilet Install | Full Time RV Life

Full time Rv living has taught us a lot and one of the quickest things was that we did NOT like the toilet that came installed in our Grand Design Solitude 382WB-R. So we quickly upgraded to a Dometic 320 "residential" toilet that has a great feel to it and a full bowl flush! The Thetford that was installed with the Grand Design wasn't necessarily bad but the flow of the water at a basically 45 degree angle always felt like the toilet was never clean in a way.

The Dometic 320 has Best-In-Class, 360° PowerFlush, swirl-jet bowl rinse ensures a cleaner rinse. Rim design prevents spills. Innovative drop-away ball and valve system for fast, complete flushes. Full-size, elongated enameled wood seat for comfort just like home. Hands-free foot pedal flush with adjustable water level. During the installation, I also installed a water shut off valve in the event of a leaky toilet! This way I can turn the water flow off to the toilet and still have water at all my faucets and shower! If doing this, make sure to pick up a brass fitting and not plastic, they will last much much longer! Something like this is what I used...
