Handgun Bullet Torture Test: part one

In response to rising interest in concealed carry and self defense (this is a good thing) there is a lot of ammo today being marketed as defensive ammo (another good thing). I just wonder how today's bullets stack-up and if the self-defense bullets are really any better than "ordinary" jacketed hollow points.

This test is not a simulation, but a torture test to see if these bullets hold together and how well they expand. In part one, we test the Remington Golden Saber, Sig Sauer V-Crown, and Barnes XPD (all marketed as defense ammo) as well as the Hornady HAP (your ordinary target JHP).

I am using my Springfield Armory 1991 "Loaded" in .45 ACP.
