AI Deepfake Porn Is Targeting Teens Right Now

The moment the scale of AI-generated deepfake pornography became clear, every photo of my children on social media came down.

This is not a future problem. This is happening right now.

Ordinary photos are being taken from Facebook, Instagram, and other social platforms and turned into fake explicit images of children and teenagers.

According to Thorn, 1 in 8 young people ages 13 to 20 know someone who has been targeted by AI-generated deepfake pornography. Even more alarming, 1 in 17 say they have been victimized themselves.

As a former prosecutor, this is a battle cry to parents.

Children need stronger protections. Technology companies need real accountability. Lawmakers need to act.

Parents cannot afford to assume this is someone else’s problem.
