How to make Cinnamon and Sugar Candied Pecan recipe and chat with Christmas Stovetop Potpourri

Let's chat in my New England kitchen as I show you how to make a delicious recipe for easy to make cinnamon and sugar candied pecans. They make the perfect party snack, Christmas gift, or holiday hostess gift.

Candied or Sugar Pecan Ingredients & Instructions
1 pound pecan halves
1 egg white
1 teaspoon cold water
1 1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
   1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees. 
   2.Beat egg white with water until frothy.
   3. Fold pecans into egg whites until well coated.
   4. Mix cinnamon, sugar and salt together then fold coated pecans into the dry mixture.

Bake on a cookie sheet (with parchment paper) for 1 hour. Serve warm or once they are cool, they can be packaged for gifts.
PS, if you choose to bake them on the sheet without parchment paper, that works, but even with no stick pans, these beauties will still make a mess and it is so much easier to clean up with the parchment paper.
