LITTLE VILLAGE - Correggio, 9/7/1992 (full audio - master tape)

Cinque anni dopo lo stupendo “Bring the Family”, John Hiatt, Ry Cooder, Nick Lowe e Jim Keltner si ritrovarono di nuovo in studio per un progetto stavolta collettivo, sotto il nome di Little Village. L’album che ne uscì non è certo paragonabile al capolavoro di John Hiatt, ma è decisamente piacevole. Il tour, poi, ci regalò l'emozione di vedere suonare insieme questi quattro grandi musicisti, in un ottimo concerto.
L’unica data italiana fu a Correggio, nel pratone della Festa Comunale de l’Unità dove un paio di giorni prima si era esibito Bob Dylan e nelle Feste degli anni successivi sarebbero arrivati anche Neil Young, Elvis Costello con gli Attractions, Patti Smith, Lou Reed, Iggy Pop e Jeff Buckley. Bei tempi, compagni!
