Hello and Welcome! This time I am sharing with you several tips and tricks that I use for Dipped Card stock and wood projects! https://youtu.be/SfhQjuf7GmY I even show you what everything looks like after it is DRY. I can honestly say that I love each one of the pieces even more the day after I dipped. The colors are more true. They almost have an inner glow that is hard to describe. I hope you have as much fun when you try these out.

I'm getting card stock ready for 4 different projects that will be their own videos. Some projects are decorative and some can be used as ornaments and package toppers and 1 works as a special color surprise for your art journals!

So some of these dipped papers are so pretty I ALMOST don't want to cut them up for the projects! I will take GOOD PHOTOS of them though so I can get prints made!
Yes really they are that pretty!

Materials:
Neenah Solar White 110lb Card stock. (For these projects you can use any cardstock or smooth watercolor paper between 80-140lb)

Folk Art Yellow Citron
Decoart Americana Primary Red
Decoart Crafters Acrylic Tuti-Friuty (I kept calling this Flamingo Pink)
Decoart Metallics- Festive Green http://amzn.to/2A7U0yV
Glorious Gold -http://amzn.to/2hWvKFG
Apple Barrel- Midnight Blue
Artist Loft Flow White
Pebeo Studio Acrylics Iridescent Red Blue - http://amzn.to/2hZqdOM
Wagner Paint Easy http://amzn.to/2Bp3QuF (Floetrol works too-you just have to strain it to get out the lumps)
Sargentart Gloss Medium and Varnish
Reynolds Freezer Paper(I find it in the Grocery Store near the Plastic wrap and Foil)

Paint Recipes:
3 Parts Artist loft Flow White 1 Part Wagner Paint Easy

All the other paint colors are mixed 1 part Paint and 4 parts Sargent Art Gloss Medium and Varnish. (Yes, you can use Liquitex Pouring Medium or Golden GAC-800 as a direct exchange)

There's no silicon oil or torching in my projects as I really worry about the possible side effects of heating the acrylic paints and the materials they are made from. I'm also concerned with the possible issues down the line with the paint not forming a good bond with the surface because of the oils preventing proper adhesion.

We all have to weigh the pros and cons of how we interact with our art supplies. Experimenting can be exciting and beautiful, but there can be consequences we don't know about yet. As with any thing in life be informed by reputable sources and your own common sense. :)

I have a creative spirit that loves to explore and experiment with all kinds of Arts and Craft! I hope you have fun while you join me on my creative adventures! Make sure you have clicked that Subscribe button and the Bell so you will be notified when new videos go up! Fun things are planned and I hope you will be a part of them!

The most important things you need to be successful with any of my creative projects are the willingness to learn and to be easy on yourself as you are learning. We tend to be our worst critics and we need to learn to be kind to ourselves.

I love the community that we are building here. We are caring and supportive of all levels of crafters, makers and Artists.
