Final of the Best Handywoman or Handyman of the Netherlands

Every year Hornbach, a large hardware store, organizes a contest for the best handyman or handywoman of The Netherlands. This year, I was asked to be on the jury.

Four amateur DIY finalists had to build an outdoor kitchen in only six hours’ time during the night. The skills, drive and creativity of these four was really inspiring!

I wanted to show that you do not have to be a professional to build something great in a short amount of time. It might give you the motivation to get rid of the reservations you might have and start building yourself! Worthwhile to watch.

The participants had a budget of 1500 euros = 1322 dollars. They were allowed to use everything from the store to build the outdoor kitchen.
The four participants were very motivated and built beautiful wooden kitchens with a barbecue.
