外傭瑪媞卡來到社工學倫的家，照顧學倫的外公。工作的第一天，瑪媞卡便發現外公患了腦退化症。瑪媞卡一方面學習照顧外公，另一方面還要應付學倫起伏不定的情緒。原來，學倫因母親突然失蹤而被迫成為家庭的照顧者。學倫和瑪媞卡二人在跌跌碰碰中努力嘗試面對這個困境，然而無法解決的問題仍如浪潮湧至。被苦難綑在一起的凡人，只好緊拉著彼此求生。

Martika is a foreign domestic helper who came to the house of a social worker, Alan, and helps him take care of his grandpa. On her first day of work, Martika found out that grandpa has dementia. On one hand, she has to learn to take care of grandpa, on the other hand, she has to deal with Alan's emotions. Alan is forced take care of grandpa due to the missing of his mother. They try very hard to learn from mistakes but unsolvable problems just hit them one after another. For those who are tied together by the many unfortunate events, they can only rely on each other for survival.
