MOC Lego train station WIP E04: Working escalators

This video shows the progress of my Lego train station MOC. Finally the escalators are finished and working! The Lego escalators are built with Lego Technic Threads. On every link is a plate with hinges and some tiles to form a step.

The Lego escalator is powered by a Lego Power Functions M motor and some gears to give the motor some more power to make the Lego escalator move more fluently.

I've chosen to not make a system that a Lego minifig can go all the way around the Lego escalator: this would mean that I needed to raise the floor of the station by three Lego bricks in height which is very unpracticle, since the Lego train rails needed to be raised as well.
