Starvation & Survival: Displaced Palestinians Fight to Eat as Israeli Forces Storm Gaza City!
We're here representing an Algerian charity. We've managed to prepare some food today for displaced people who came here after the Israeli military operation in Al Zaytoun. We need to do more to provide food for everyone. Most of the displaced people don't get enough for their families. These meals are not just food. It's a lifeline and an escape from the famine that has gripped Gaza since March 2nd. And only a trickle amount of food is coming in and coursing into the besieged Gaza Strip. And families have been living in the same circle of displacement for nearly 22 consecutive months of the Israeli war, and they have been stripped of their income, jobs, factories, and any means of income. They can't afford these high prices of products available, so they have been forced to community kitchens like this one behind me to secure one meal at a time.
