Big Country - Stuart Adamson and Dunfermline Athletic, 1991.

Dunfermline - the spiritual home of Big Country.

The band played their first ever gig as Big Country in the town and played sporadically there throughout their career whenever it could be fitted in to the schedule.

The 1987 Under Wraps show at the Kinema Ballroom is the stuff of legend for anyone who was lucky enough to attend and the band held their 1991 Country Club Convention in the town too.
Since the band's regeneration in 2010, Dunfermline has probably seen more Big Country related events than ever with popular fan gatherings, pilgrimages to the BC related sites around the town and regular end of year gigs at the Glen Pavilion and other venues.

Speaking of 1991, in that year Dunfermline Athletic made it through to the Scottish League Cup Final against Hibernian. This clip gives us a preview of the game and naturally interviews one of its most famous followers, Stuart Adamson.
