December 29, 2020: A Service of Morning Prayer and Reflection at Washington National Cathedral

Today is a solemn feast day in the church, the Feast of the Holy Innocents. Although feast days are usually celebrations, it is difficult to celebrate the massacre of young children by King Herod in his attempt to kill the baby Jesus.

Canon Vicar Dana Colley Corsello encourages us to try to understand that these innocent victims should be honored, as they were the first witnesses to the newborn king.
