The Institute of Hydrobiology and Aquatic Ecosystem Management is sharing this video as a fun memory from one of their fishing days. Fieldwork days can be long and hard. Sometimes it's sunny, sometimes it rains, and sometimes you even regret going to the river that day ⛈️. Because in jobs like this, nature rules. We adapt.

Often, we wait for the perfect moment to be out on the river: usually when the water discharge is low. That's kind of special, because it means we're syncing with Pacha Mama and learning the art of patience 😄

But in the end, these days are beautiful, just like the one in this video. Behind what you see here, there's of course still a lot of planning and organisation that deserves appreciation. Not to mention many hours of video editing... But we are happy to share this with you, and if it inspires even one person to take a closer look at what's happening in our rivers, that's a win.
