Inside The Shandell's Marbleized Accessories | Beautiful Things I HB

Just off of the winding Route 7 in Sheffield, Massachusetts, sits a small, unassuming building. Step inside, though, and you enter a wonderland of craft. This is Shandell's, the marbling studio of Susan Schneider, who spends days mixing paints and painstakingly creating colorful marble papers, which she affixes to everything from lampshades to tissue boxes. Schneider has been working out of this Sheffield studio for three years. "It's a comfortable place; it's someplace I love," she says of the Berkshires.
