WHAT A RIP OFF. That is essentially all I have to say about this. I paid almost £10 just to get from Luton Airport Parkway station to the Airport and back. This "DART" (Direct Air-Rail Transit) opened earlier this year connecting the airport terminal to Luton Airport Parkway which was previously covered by a bus. Previously, if you had a train ticket to Luton Airport you were also then allowed to ride the shuttle bus (operated by Thameslink) for no extra cost to the airport. This DART system however charges you £4.90 for the mile journey! So passengers arriving at "Luton Airport Parkway" station have NO way of getting from there to the airport terminal without paying another £4.90 per person, which personally I think is absolutely disgusting. This is one of the only airport transits I can think of, that you have to pay such a fee.
This video shows a look onboard the transit, the airport DART station and a forward facing view of the entire journey from the train station to the airport.

I won't say anymore about it. See if you think its worth £4.90 for a single trip based on my video.
