Running a hybrid production facility and general job shop can pose challenges when it comes to total capacity. At Samson Manufacturing, a dedicated Haas 5-axis UMC paired with a pallet pool turned out to be the ideal solution, allowing them to increase their spindle utilization by mixing customer’s parts in with their own production runs.
General Manager Jon Bernashe shares how the addition of this 5-axis pallet pool system allowed them to triple their normal output, leading them to order their second system right after the first had hit the shop floor.
