The highly anticipated dolls have arrived wearing clothing straight out of the Idol video! Join us as we unbox all seven dolls.
Let’s look at the packaging. The white and black clam shell packaging gives off a red carpet vibe.
On the front of the package, each band member is listed.
RM is the leader and the spokesperson for the group. We can totally see RM in this doll. The color of his hair and even the styling is very similar to the video. It’s dark with light blue highlights. Look Mattel has even included RM’s signature dimple on his left cheek.
RM is wearing his Idol outfit with his shiny turquoise, hexagonal patterned suit jacket. Underneath he has on a green, polka dotted collared shirt.

Up next we have V.
Also in his Idol look, V is wearing his paisley patterned red jacket. He’s got on a white collared shirt with two red hearts on the collar.
He’s also wearing shiny satin-like pants
and white sneakers.
V had absolutely amazing hair in the Idol video and Mattel came close to replicating it. It’s half blond and half pink. Check it out, it’s crimped too. The only thing is that it looks a little thin and you can see through the roots.

Who’s the third one from the left?
Jin needs no introduction. You know him as world-wide handsome.

He’s actually the oldest member of BTS. Nobody can take his title away and it’s so fun to see him in doll form.
He’s got lovely parted blond hair.
With a hoodie and an awesome artsy jacket, his clothing looks just like the clothing in the music video.
He’s wearing matching pants
and white sneakers.

And then we have J-Hope.
Good Morning! I’m your angel, I‘m your hope. It’s J-Hope.
J-Hope is wearing his Idol look with a shiny gold, black, and green zig zag pattern on it. He’s styling a pointed collared white shirt with white buttons down the front.
He’s got on matching pants
and white tennis shoes.

Let’s see who we have next!
We have Jimin. Straight out of a casino, he’s got on his shiny high roller outfit with a jacket and matching pants.

His white collared shirt with decorative white buttons perfectly complements his outfit. Our favorite accessory has to be his tie, which is real. We love the playing card and dice patterns on it.
He’s also got on his white sneakers.
Up next, we’ve got Suga!
He’s the closest thing to looking in the mirror. You can tell he’s so expensive with his black, yellow, and white zig-zagged patterned suit with matching jacket and pants.
He’s got on a white collared shirt with flowers and white buttons down the front.
His brown hair with reddish highlights stays true to the Idol music video.

Lastly, we have Jung Kook. It’s international playboy himself!
Jung Kook is the youngest member in BTS. In his Idol outfit, he’s got on a bright yellow outfit with a red and green diamond pattern on it.
For whatever reason, he’s actually the only doll with a separate jacket and shirt. Underneath his suit, he’s got a sleeveless shirt. Why what big arms he has?
Nobody can rock reddish strawberry, pink hair like Jung Kook.
He’s also got on matching pants
and white sneakers.
What’s Jung Kook’s favorite actress?

There are two things that we love about BTS: they are fashionable and have great moves. After checking out their fancy outfits, I am going to need a new suit and hair color.
All of the dolls have 11 working joints so you can pose them in their moves from the music videos. You can move their head, shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee,and ankle.
The ankle movement is great because it allows them to stand.
Each doll has a unique hair color. We love the rooted hair on these dolls. The way the hair swoops across their faces is extremely stylish. Mattel we need more of this.
While generic, the shoes are nicely detailed. The boys are wearing two types of sneakers.
RM, V, Jin, Jimin, and Suga are all wearing high tops.
J-Hope and Jung Kook are wearing regular ones.
The shirts have false buttons on the front and close with a Velcro strip.
The only downsides? The shirts and jackets are all one piece, which is true for most of the dolls in the line except Jung Kook. Oddly, he’s the only fancy one.
