Blighted Trenton site is being pitched for big redevelopment

Roebling Steel spun the wire cables that suspend the Golden Gate and Brooklyn bridges. But over decades the factories failed and finally closed. Now the site is an overgrown ruins in the northwest corner of Trenton’sChambersburg section. That could soon change. A brownfield site — derelict, industrial, environmentally challenged — proposals for its redevelopment are being sought by the city.
