Lincoln Ranger 8 welding cart tractor hitch

When transporting the welder I roll it down my driveway to the ditch in my front yard. Then, back my truck into the ditch, put the tailgate down and I can roll the welder rite in. Unloading the welder is the same except it is really hard to roll it back up the hill. Now I can tow it up or down hill. I used a 24" long piece of 1" water pipe for the tongue. The hitch is 2 pieces of 1.25" wide X 5" long X 3/16 flat stock. I mounted the hitch 2" on the tongue with 3" out and a 5/8" hole for a 1/2" hitch pin. The hitch pin is 1/2" round stock 4" long with a 1/2" washer welded on the end for a stop Thanks for watching :)
