Beyerdynamic DT990 ultimate gaming headset mod

Full disclaimer - I am not the best gamer - I have just had a lot of requests from gamers over the past year to make them custom DT990s. Sound is always a very personal thing and these may not be right for everyone. That said, when used with a decent headphone amp the DT990 are very detailed for the money and are not fatiguing during long listening periods so I can see how they could potentially be just as good in gaming as they are in the studio for picking out fine details in the sound
in this video I turn a pair of beyerdynamic DT990 studio headphones into a pro gaming headset with the addition of a beyerdynamic custom headset gear mic.
