Please keep in mind that, a Marriage Visitor visa is for an individual over the age of 18 who would like to come to the UK to get married, register a civil partnership or submit notice of a marriage or civil partnership in the UK.

This visa lets individuals to visit the UK for a maximum of 6 months, and during this phase, they are anticipated to marry or enter into a civil partnership in the UK. The ceremony need to be held at a location which is licensed for this reason.

Significantly, the Marriage Visit visa is not for those individuals who intend to stay or live in the UK after the marriage or civil partnership. In conditions where an individual does intend to stay in the UK after the marriage, a fiancé visa might instead be appropriate.
