This is a travel story by a recreational gold prospector to the Cariboo goldfields in British Columbia, Canada. Wandering along the gold rush trail from Vancouver to Barkerville means wandering back through an equally rich history. Far away from the big tourist centers we visit the little jewels like Barkerville, Quesnel Forks, Antler, or Snowshoe.
