Alhambra

Begun in the 8th Century and completed in the 14th Century, when Muslims had advanced into Europe, it is a classic example of Moorish / Christian architectural fusion.
Once abandoned, nearly 200 years of loving restoration has left us with a delight that is both unique and culturally significant.
In a hot dry land, the use of water as an art form is extravagant and sensational, particularly considering Alhambra sits on a dry hill overlooking Granada.
I have used music which is a fusion of classic Spanish and traditional Arabic to complement the archtiecture and symbolism of the palaces.
