The Blacksmith, is a fiction story song I wrote, to touch on the subject of luke warmness in a Christian's life!!
In other words, being comfortable, just giving God a half hearted glance, saying this is just having a little fun there’s nothing wrong with it, or maybe living in sin and knowing that it’s wrong, but not doing anything about it!! It could be a bunch of different things!!
The point is we need to be fully committed and surrendered to God!!

Through the broken window pain,
Stood an old man full of years.

And as the boy peered inside,
The old man, caught his eyes, and he said

When its just lukewarm,
Then hold it to the anvil,
once its glowing like a torch,
And beat it with a hammer,
So it can be transformed,

The old man said with a grin,
Don't be shy boy come on in,
let me show you what I mean,
He said, were all like this metal bar,
We need a fire burnin' in our hearts,
If we wanna be a work of art,

Because you know the Blacksmith up in the sky
Can't use a heart that only half way tries, and he said,

Let Him put it in the fire,
let Him put it in the forge,
Cause it ain't gonna get formed,

And later on the old man passed away,
And the young boy turned into a man,
And when his faith started turning grey,
The old man's words rang in his head,
And He said,

Cause I don't wanna live this life,
Like there's nothing to live for,
Then hold me to the anvil,
Once I'm glowing like a torch
Beat me with a hammer,
So I can be transformed,
