Community Planting in Peru

#TeamTrees partnered with Global Forest Generation and Asociacion Ecosistemas Andinos (ECOAN) to plant 100,000 trees in the Andes Mountains of Peru. The large-scale restoration initiative, Accion Andina, is focused on replanting an overlooked, yet critically important ecosystem within the world's longest continental mountain range. Native trees were planted to ensure long-term climate resilience and water security for the wildlife and indigenous communities that call this region home.
