Ms. Sonal Mehrotra Kapoor is an associate editor and principal anchor in NDTV. She started working for NDTV in 2010 and is known for her trailblazing reporting on several issues in the country. She is widely praised for her exclusive coverage of the JNU incident where she faced extreme difficulties while trying to unravel the truth.
She was the Top Nominee for the Asian Television Awards in Singapore for her rigorous coverage of Nirbhaya case. For her steadfast attitude towards her work, she was awarded NT Young Journalist of the Year award.
