Little details that made this game awesome #3

In 2008 EA releases what would become a classic in survival horror with Dead Space. Taking cues from Alien and John Carpenter's the Thing as well as games like RE4, System Shock (which this game was originally gonna be a sequel to) and Bioshock Dead Space provided players a rich playground with a horror setting that would make HP Lovecraft bust a gothic nut.

Among the many things that it is praise about, we have its Gravity Simulation. In certain areas of the game the player can engage in Zero Gravity for puzzel solving, getting into areas and combat. Everything from objects, consumables and body parts react to it. If it aint bolted the ground its either floating or stolen by the blood Ravens.

At certain points in the game, gravity panels will burst creating deadly traps for the enemy and the player. With enough skill the player can trick or push enemies into it.

Or you know, be a dick and throw boxes at a soldier pin into the ceiling.
