Healthy Habits for 2024 & Power of Consistency
Prioritising ourselves CAN be challenging. Here’s why…and how to navigate the hard days👇🏻
It's human nature to look for quick wins and choose things that feel rewarding at the time. The moments that come when we feel like working out or prepping healthy wholefood meals, we end up feeling great!
But those moments of motivation don't come to us every day, and that's okay.
However, if we always wait for motivation to hit we might not:
⭐ Set an early alarm and wake up feeling refreshed and revitalised
⭐ Feel like the day ahead is yours for the taking
⭐ Skip the 3 pm slump and feel energised all day
⭐ Go for that walk like we said we would
The short answer is, it's an active choice.
We need to set things up around us that create an environment where it's easy to make active choices and remove temptation, like:
✨ Starting the day with a protein-filled breakfast
✨ Supplementing our bodies with the nutrients you need
✨ Packing activewear in a bag and taking ourselves for a walk after work
✨ Making sure there are left-overs for tomorrow - cook once, eat twice
✨ Putting our phones down an hour before bed and allowing ourselves to rest
The key is in your daily routines and habits, these set you up for success to make active choices with ease. Don't worry, you've got this!
