European intelligence believes that former Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu , now Secretary of the Security Council, is plotting a coup. However, in reality, he is despised in the military, making him incapable of leading an uprising. The current head of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Andrei Belousov , is also incapable of this . Maximilian Andronnikov, deputy commander of the Freedom of Russia Legion and call sign "Caesar," told Channel 24 that a mutiny could be started by senior lieutenants, majors, and lieutenant colonels—in other words, individuals who are not so deeply integrated into Putin's system. Maximilian Andronnikov noted that Shoigu is despised in the Russian army, at all levels: from the rank and file and junior officers to the generals.

The thing is, Shoigu never served a day in the army; he's a firefighter. His real career rise began after he actively supported the suppression of the 1993 Moscow uprising—the so-called anti-Yeltsin revolt. It was suppressed by firing squad. Even then, it was clear there would be no democracy in Russia.

Shoigu is despised for issuing completely inappropriate orders that don't correspond to the current situation, for his lies, total corruption, and nepotism. After all, without connections to his clan, no one can build a career.

"They also despise him for oppressing real combat generals. These include Ivan Popov and Mikhail Teplinsky , who also stole, but to a much lesser extent, demonstrated results on the battlefield, and cared about the lives of their subordinates. They honestly reported problems with replenishment of personnel, with rotations, and reported a shortage of ammunition. Shoigu repressed all of these generals," explained the deputy commander of the Freedom of Russia Legion.

According to him, Andrei Belousov is treated more favorably in the Russian army. But he is still considered an outsider, a man outside the system. And appointing a smart, combat-ready general to these positions is unthinkable in the Russian armed forces. After all, anyone above major is expected to be skilled only in theft. Generals like Alexander Lebed and Lev Rokhlin , who were mortally dangerous to the regime, were assassinated.

"Shoigu certainly can't lead a mutiny. Neither can any of the generals, because it would be mortally dangerous for them. But I believe a mutiny will happen sooner or later. It will be started by senior lieutenants, majors, lieutenant colonels. That is, people who are not so deeply integrated into Putin's system, people who still have some basic concepts of honor, duty, Christian conscience, and service to their people, not to the dictatorship," suggested "Caesar."
