Energy bill rebate 'already paid' by taxpayers: Pauline Hanson
One Nation Leader Pauline Hanson says the Australian people have already paid the $300 energy rebate in taxes.
“Heading down the path of net zero emissions is actually destroying our cost of living, and that’s why it’s rising,” Miss Hanson told Sky News Australia host Chris Kenny.
“It's only sugar hit for the state government, and also the federal government to give us these rebates back.
“It’s like robbing Peter to pay Paul.”
