You can’t carry the "Heavy Presence" of God if your life's "clogged" with the smog of pride. In the ancient Tabernacle, Kipur (Atonement) acted like a "ritual detergent." Its job was to "rub clean" the space so the Glory of God could actually abide there.

We don’t get "glory" by trying harder to be important; we get it through the "clean-up" of repentance. When we let the Saviour "rub clean" our hearts, we stop being a rock and start becoming a soft sponge—meek, absorbent, and ready for His weight.
